| When I got my latest iPod Shuffle for my birthday at the end of 2007, I thought it was the bees knees.. So small, so simple, so much better than even a full size iPod. Well, Apple just continue to outdo themselves. They have just launched a NEW iPod Shuffle - and - imagine this - its SMALLER AGAIN! 4.5cm tall, 1.7cm wide, and 7.8mm thick. It's TINY. Half the size of the previous one, the new shuffle is a 4GB model, with a shiny stainless steel clip on the back, with the standard Apple logo on it. It weighs just 10.7 grams! How can it be so small - it has NO BUTTONS. The buttons instead are on the HEADPONES (imagine the new range of 'accessories' that will open up, new style headphones with the new controls). There are 3 small buttons on the cord, up near your shoulder if the ear buds are in your ears. The buttons are: Volume UP Volume DOWN and the Centre Button The centre button is the key. Press it once for PLAY. Press it twice for NEXT track. Press it three times for PREVIOUS track. Then, the new feature... HOLD the centre button, and your iPod will TELL you the name of the track you are playing. You can also use it to switch playlists. Amazing stuff. $129 (AU), Available in 'grey' and 'black'. Check it out. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
