I simply cannot tell you how often i am asked by people, particular seniors, WHERE can they go to learn about computers, or what BOOK can i read? Well, tonight, while talking with a lovely lady named Robyn at Rose Bay, i stumbled across an organisation called the Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association. Austrlalian Seniors Computer Clubs Association If you are a Senior, looking to learn more about computers, this is just for you. There are clubs right across Australia, in Sydney there are almost 70 clubs covering every part of the City. Goto their website and email them, or call them, or search for a club in your area. Then you pay a small joining fee and a fee per term, to learn everything from the MOST BASIC to the things lots of people want to learn like "THE INTERNET" The phone number for the ASCCA is 9286 3871 Enjoy... |

Has one paid organiser called Diane, the rest are volunteers as they have progressed through the Club. Run a little differently than other computer clubs that don't have a paid organiser but is a member of ASCCA. If anyone lives in Sydney it would be a good and friendly place to start learning about computers at your own pace. Even though I live on the Central Coast I still think the journey is worthwhile.
